Benefits To Volunteering At The Remedee Center
The Remedee Center provides the perfect opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience. By volunteering at the Remedee Center, you will develop leadership and communication skills, build contacts, and meet new friends.
The all encompassing nature of Remedee Center’s programming allows everyone to share their expertise in some way. Attorneys are invited to accumulate pro bono hours by volunteering their services. Practitioners, such as chiropractors, acupuncturists, life coaches, and massage therapists, are welcome to accumulate hours toward their license by volunteering their skill set. Please contact the Remedee Center to coordinate any special services, talents, or skills you would like to share.
While we need volunteers with special skills, we also require support behind the scenes, in the office, planning special events, coordinating in house programming, and performing client intake. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.
The Remedee Center seeks volunteers who are passionate about their purpose, their commitment to serve, and their desire to contribute their time, energy, and attention. We look for innovative problem solvers who wish to help us initiate positive change in lives of our clients while maintaining a nurturing, caring, confidential atmosphere.
The Remedee Center is primarily run by volunteers. Your time and your support make this center possible and are extremely important to us.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (213) 384-4925 or by email at info@remedee.org.
ways to give
"From the canyons, to the basin, I see people struggling in this recession, unemployment the worst in three decades. Thousands of hardworking people with their savings eroded and their equity wiped clean. I see a mounting wave of home foreclosures threatening to engulf entire city neighborhoods. I see the devastating impact on our own budget. And still, I see something bigger."
