Saving your home from foreclosure
HUD-certified housing counselors will be on site to offer advice on loan modification and foreclosure avoidance/assistance. Foreclosure prevention companies and scam artists are currently exploiting the vulnerability of defaulting homeowners. Many mortgage companies have agonizing wait times for processing requests and offering assistance, assuming one is able to speak to a representative. Remedee Center offers helpful, efficient alternatives to receiving expert advice. While avoiding foreclosure isn’t always possible, our skilled advisors will assess all options and every possible scenario to reach the best possible outcome.
Housing options: rentals, emergency shelter
For the thousands of Angelenos who can no longer pay the rent, an informational and emotional support system is vital to learning exploring all available options, especially under the debilitating fear of becoming homeless. Housing agencies and expert counselors will assess the client’s situation and walk him or her through various availabilities and options, such as security deposit-free rentals, government-subsidized housing, required city housing agencies, or nearby shelters.
Legal rights during financial crisis
A multitude of legal issues may arise from financial crisis, such as employment rights, government benefits, tenant rights and housing and consumer scams. In some cases, legal advocacy may be required to avoid foreclosure. Remedee Center will partner with pro-bono lawyers, agencies, firms, and/or local law schools to provide free legal advice needed by so many now.
