KnowledgeOne of the greatest challenges for victims of the economic crisis is lack of access to information. While there are a multitude of services and assistance programs available at every institutional level, even the most educated of individuals would find it extremely challenging to navigate this complex and fragmented system of help. The Center intends to counter the frequent inability for people to get a human on the phone or to get an answer to a question upon first visit to a resource center. The one-stop nature of the Center will inherently address this issue, as will individual counseling and group workshops. Read more about this offering... |

WellnessThe urgency and tension surrounding the economic crisis has led to new levels of stress, anxiety, and depression never before experienced by many... Remedee’s Wellness Center will offer yoga and meditation classes, in addition to special treatment rooms where volunteer massage therapists, acupuncturists, and other holistic practitioners will see clients. CommunityA goal of the Remedee Center is to provide a space for and created by the community, constantly evolving as the needs of our community expand. Among the many possibilities, our Community offering will provide a space for Special Events (i.e. art shows, movie screenings, and lectures), a Daycare Center, an Art Gallery, a Community Garden, a Cafe, and the Reel Earth Youth Center, an art and media center for youth.
